Anthony Williams
Associate Pastor

Anthony joined the Calvary Staff first as Fortress Ministries Pastor in December 2012 and then as Associate Pastor (part-time) in July 2013 after retiring from a 37 year career in private industry. Anthony has been married to his wife Debbie for over 36 years. They have two children - Heather Williams Graves married to Brandon, and their two children, Olivia and Collin live in Loveland, CO. while Hunter Williams, married to Ali, and their two children, Aria and Daylia live in Murfreesboro. Anthony has served in most Lay capacities at not only Calvary but other churches as well over his lifetime. He is also the Volunteer Chaplin at Sunnington Assisted Living Residence. He received his BS in Public Administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and his MA in Biblical Ministries from Baptist Bible College, Clark Summit, PA. Anthony answered the call to ministry and was ordained at Calvary in January 2012.

The function of Associate Pastor at Calvary includes all pastoral duties as well as acting as administrative Pastor reporting directly to the Senior Pastor. Additionally, Anthony remains as Fortress Ministries Pastor. We believe the Fortress is some of the, most direct Kingdom work we can perform in the Murfreesboro community. EVERYTHING we do at the Fortress as well as Calvary is Christ centered ministry to glorify our Savior.

Brent Roycroft
Music/Worship Pastor

Brent came to Calvary in 2007 as our Music/Worship Pastor.  He has a Bachelor of Music from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas and has been a Music Minister at various churches around Tennessee and Texas. He also taught music in elementary and middle schools for 6 years in Nashville, LaVergne, and Franklin.  Brent met his wife Cindy at a Nashville Sounds game in 1998 and were married one year later. They have two adopted children, Ty and Willow.

When we gather together as a church body to worship, the object of our Worship Ministry is to make Jesus Christ bigger. “O magnify the Lord with me, let us exalt His name together.” Psalm 34:3 Through thanksgiving and praise we surrender ourselves each week and focus on God and His Sovereignty.   Our worship helps individual move toward an intimate place of faith in Jesus Christ that is tapped through the Holy Spirit’s revelation and the opening of God’s Truth.  The proclamation of God’s Word and our response of worship is accomplished through modern songs, video, drama, and testimony.

Micah Hoke
Collegiate/Young Adult Pastor

Micah joined Calvary Baptist Church in 2013 as our Collegiate/Young Adult Pastor. Micah and his wife Cynthia were married in 2012 and have been ministering to college students together for over two and a half years. Their passion is for helping students create and maintain a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ through His Word.

The Bridge is the College and Young Adult side of the ministry at Calvary Baptist Church.  Our goal is to help students and young adults bridge the gap between the world and a life devoted to following Jesus Christ.  The way we hope to accomplish this is through our worship service Wednesday nights and our Connect Groups where biblical family and prayer take place.  Feel free to join us at any point during the year!

Tyler Clem
Youth Pastor

Tyler is a native to Murfreesboro, but moved to Anderson, South Carolina to pursue youth ministry full time in 2011. Tyler and his family moved back to Murfreesboro to join the Calvary family in 2016. He is currently pursuing his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Liberty University. Tyler and his wife Andi were married in 2012 and have two sons, Liam and Harper.

Collision Student Ministries is a place where middle school and high school students can come to learn about who Jesus is, how they should collide with Him, and how to grow in their relationship with Christ. Tyler desires to reach this generation so they can raise the next. Middle and high school are crucial times for students to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. He desires to disciple them according to the Bible - God's infallible word.

Cindy Roycroft
Children's Minister

Cindy is currently serving as our Children's Minister. She and her family have been a part of the Calvary family since 2007. For the two years, she was a part of our two-day week Calvary Baptist Preschool, and for the past eight years, she has had her most challenging and rewarding job as "MOM" to her two answers to prayer. Before becoming a mom, you could have found her roaming the halls of LifeWay and serving on their Music Events team for nine years. She is a native to Nashville, and a business graduate from Middle Tennessee State University.
