The Purpose of Calvary Baptist Church
We consider our purpose to be the fulfillment of the Great Commission of Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; and teaching them to obey all I have commanded you . . ." We desire to fulfill this mission/vision by "introducing people to Christ and leading them from infancy to maturity in Christ."

Our Church Covenant
As provided by our Church Covenant and our Charter of Incorporation, Calvary Baptist Church utilizes a Leadership Team to work in concert with the Pastor and the Pastoral Team. The Leadership Team meets on a regular basis to assist the pastor in providing direction for the Church. The Leadership Team provides on this page an overview of the Church structure. The basis of this structure is the biblical concept of "leadership" in the church and the recognition that this type of structure provides for the greatest possible growth and adaptation to the ever changing needs in ministry.
